The Family Focused Pre-School
Footprints is a small family-orientated pre-school which runs on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday at The Mustard Tree Community Church in Longwell Green.
As we only take only 24 children. Parents, carers and other regular visitors often say that it feels like a family. This is partly because, as we are only open for the 3 days with the same children attending each session, we can all get to know each other very well.
We have use of a large main room and 2 smaller rooms, one of which is used as a waiting room for parents. We also have an amazing outside space which is paved and has a large wood gazebo structure which enables it to be used every day in all weathers. Children are able to access the garden on a free flow basis so they can choose when they want to play outside.
The word ‘Playgroup’ in our name was chosen as a reminder that play is fundamental to children’s well-being, learning and development. It is important that children have fun at Footprints!
